Our Mission

Raise the spirits and welfare of the brave US and Canadian service personnel – active duty, retired, newly enlisted and tenured warriors – through all-expense paid, awarded Jim Shockey Tribute Hunts. #RaiseFundsToRaiseSpirits

How We Serve

We deeply admire the invaluable sacrifices made by our military personnel. The annual Shockey Classic is a two-day gathering of military and civilians coming together to celebrate service. Paired with 501c3 Freedom Hunters organization, Jim Shockey dedicates 100% of the annual charity event proceeds to fully funded outdoor adventures.

Our Impact

Military warriors participate in experiences they otherwise may not have had the opportunity. It’s common to learn from Jim Shockey Tribute Hunt alumni that their time spent on the outdoor excursions filled a hole and added light to what was otherwise a dark space. To some it may seem like “just a hunt”. It is so much more when they realize the comradery, the thrill of the chase, the fellowship of others, the beauty of the outdoors is exactly what they needed in that moment to take a step out of the dark.
